Life is an unfinished project. Life will always be an unfinished project, incomplete and imperfect. The end of every finished task waterfalls into the beginning of an unfinished and new journey. Perfect imperfection constantly moving forward. Don’t regret your incomplete nature. Incompleteness does not mean you are unaccomplished, unworthy of recognition, love, or taking pride in the road behind and in front of you. It does not mean you are not without accomplishment. It is however the paradox of all who set out to achieve a goal, that once it is done, they will need to start again, pushing to achieve something different and better still. It is for this reason the no matter how far you go, how much you achieve, how much you self-actualize your potential as a human, there will still be more, and you will yearn for the satisfaction held in the next unfinished challenge and the unknown road ahead. And so this continues through the curves, overpasses, mountains, and valleys of your life’s journey.
Embrace it and enjoy this truly fluid nature of your time on this earth. In doing so, you’ll fall in love with being master of the process and not achievement, creating an outcome that is a beautiful life. I know I will not complete every task I set my mind to but the mere fact that I have goals, pushes me forward to discover even more possibilities that I did not have yesterday.
